Food was mostly bland, and the inly thing that could add some flavour were the accompanying sauces. The fried spinach-cheese momos were tasteless, but served hot and crispy (10 pieces). The mutton spring roll too was tasteless, but nicely cooked. The noodles too was very bland, except for the medium-spicy tang because of the Singapore-type we ordered. The fried trout was extremely plain taste. We had to add a lot of black bean sauce to awaken our buds. The mashed potato tasted like raw potato, but just beaten to a pulp. Not even salt could be tasted in any of their dishes. The only thing we liked was their tea variants. The mint tea and regular milk tea was good. The staff would serves chilly, soy and some other sauce with every dish just so that we could add some flavour into every dish. But that's so ridiculous when the customer has to creat flavour in the food. Staff behaviour and restaurant ambience is good and tolerable. The Chinese themed interior and often-played zen music gives a good feel.
This is hands down an awesome restaurant in Manali! Perhaps the best! Why? Food is delicious, service is good, Hollywood songs playing which gives you a break from the whole Indian vibe -and the owner is such a cool person! Loved my breakfast pancake & other Tibetan dishes like the momos. Great location. Highly recommend
In our four days in Manali, we came to Chopticks thrice. If that doesn't describe how amazing the place is, I don't know what does. This place serves excellent Tibetan, Indo-Chinese and Nepali food. We loved the ambience. It was warm and inviting and the music made it very soothing, relaxing and comfortable. The menu is diverse with options for everyone. We loved the fried Trout, but remember they can get quite big. The one we had was more than enough for the two of us. We highly recommend trying out Tingmo with Shapta. I wish they had Chicken Shapt, but they seem to have just Mutton at the moment. So to make up for it, we had the Sote Chicken Hong Kong Style (I'm pretty sure it's "Saute" but spelt differently). The quantity was no joke! And the taste was AWESOME. Not to mention, the staff is SO friendly and accommodating. We're visiting here again for sure!
Had a dinner worth every penny! The fried mutton momos, the shredded lamb curry, fried rice, lemon water - everything was better than how we expected them to be. The chef knows his art, the interior is ambient, exactly how it's supposed to be. The music compliments the food that they serve. The people serving there are super helpful and helpful. What else would you need to end a long day of sightseeing, travelling, and roaming around the hill town? Leaving Chopsticks Manali a 5-star rating, highly recommended!
Great food and service ! Very happy, definitely coming here again!
Portions were big, enough for 2 people. We ordered two dishes and couldn't finish both. Price is also reasonable and worth every penny.
Not sure how so many amazing reviews of this place. May be I had a bad day. Ordered VEG SIZZLER. Quantity seemed good. However, many ingredients to upset a die-hard Sizzler fan. Fries were super hard. Everyone uses frozen fries. But, God and the Chef knows why these fries were so super hard. Veggies were just steamed with a pinch of salt and not sauteed. Didn't find any dressing sauce on the Sizzler. Noodles were just steamed and dressed with few sprinkle of Parsley. No veggies except for some green peas, broccoli & cabbage. Chef could have added atleast some carrot & beans. Plus a quick butter saute with some herbs dressing would have done the job. My only question to the service staff, if you don't have enough veggies in store, then please communicate and let know your customer that we can't serve sizzler than serving a Sizzler which turns out to be the worst that customer would have ever had on Earth. Message to such popular restaurants like yours, please respect the value of people's hard earned money. If you are not prepared to serve a certain dish, then there is nothing wrong in communicating the same to customer.
This is one of those few places where the food was so good that I did not get to take any pictures. My favourite dish was the mutton momos. You don't even need any sauce for these momos. We tried various other starters and noodles as well. I will definitely visit this place every time I'm in Manali.

This place is truly the best!!! The tent and cabin sites are limited so you are not on top of each other and have a lot of privacy. it's truly unique! The owners are the best! I've been coming here with my friends multiple times a year for 7 years!!!
