Chootad Beach is a real gem! It's perfect for families with kids and so peaceful, and there's even a park for the little ones to have a blast . Yeah, there's a teeny-tiny entry fee, but trust me, it's totally worth it!

This beach is near payyanur and Kannur. This beach is not provided with water sports activities. Toilet room facility is available here. One can visit in the evening for sunset view. Day time it will be hot. Trees shadow is good. Small restaurant and snacks shops are available here. Boating facility is available in the back water.

Parking is not properly maintained and you have to be careful while parking because it is a normal land where huge coconut trees grown. You will be able to avail park facilities and adjacent beach area only if you pay the entry fee. Beach is clean but couldn't find any public toilets

Good place to spend the weekend evening. The beach is fine, we humans have left footprints already by not properly disposing of plastic waste. Entry fee of Rs50 is too much, if just the beach is the purpose you can directly enter from another area.

One of the most famous beaches in Kannur district. some parts of the sea shore is not clean but overall nice experience. Kids park and car parking area are available.

Good beach. Best place to enjoy with your family. Boating, kayaking and beach at one place. Crowded but since it is a large area you won't feel as crowded. Evening is the best time to enjoy this beach.

Good place to spend evg time. But unable to view the sun set due to geographical limitations. Please be note that, Never ever try to use toilet there... One of the worst toilet I have ever used. Parking space is available and they will charge 20 Rs for that. Entry fee for an adult is 25 Rs. I haven't seen any life guard on beach side. I don't know whether such provisions available or not.
