I think It is always closed, opens during Durga Puja, Durga Puja is celebrated here with great festive mood and Rajbongshi type...the best time to visit here is during Durga Puja.if you have interest to old monument, old architecture...then it is great to visit
Visited this place on Astami'23, on the way to Bolpur. I have travelled this path several times but never visited this grand palace before. The thakurdalan as well as the courtyard was grand in scale. The whole courtyard was covered with a Saminana & the ambience was majestic! Definitely worth a visit during Durga Puja!
One of the oldest known Durga Puja of West Bengal , The Durga mandir is itself a heritage and the atmosphere may take you to 200 years back in time machine although the puja is around 400 years old . An absolute brillant piece of history hidden amidst rustle bustle of modern times . The architecture itself speaks of the generations it has seen . The owner of the place is absolute custodian of the enticing history of the place and is a gem of a person to interact with . Regality with simplicity can be seen meeting with Mr Somnatheshwar Chongdar . Must Visit at any time of year and consider yourself lucky if you get to meet Mr Somnatheshwar . Great place.

It's located at guskara , purba_burdwan district. It's approximate 500 years old. It's famous for theri durga puja, kali puja and jagodhatri puja. Family members are very good and they maintain their palace very well.

This place is really beautiful. Small, Crowded & under construction. Buses more frequently available for Katwa, Nutanhat, Ujjani 51 satipith Kogram, Durgapur, Asansol, Burdwan, Illambazar, Bhedia & less frequently available for Nabadwip, Krishnanagar
Place is good,you get plenty of space for parking, back side of the lodge you get a pond side garden. Bedrooms are good. But one thing during any occasion when more guests are coming the inside temperature of the lower rooms and main hall is getting

This is in Aaousgram, we visited to have lunch and we got good food with very reasonable price.. There is large car parking area and bathroom facilities also..
