Cholaa Dynasty - A Bergamont Hotel, Kumbakonam - Hotel in Kumbakonam - Thanjavur, India

Hotel location is good, rooms are okay but service needs huge improvement. Booked a luxury room with city view but was given a room with absolutely no view and stuffy small balcony which opens inside the hotel itself. You can just see the cobwebs. Food/ Resturant/ room service are below average. Takes ages to deliver food. Portion is too little. Untrained staff members in kitchen and serving area.Food is no where near average. Needs lot of improvement. We initially planned to extend one more day but after experiencing the service, decided to leave early.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The room was beautifully appointed with modern amenities. The on-site dining options were exceptional, offering a diverse range of delicious dishes. The hotel's location was also convenient, allowing easy access to several temples. Overall, my experience was nothing short of fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a enjoyable stay.

Staff are courteous. Food is good. Reservation was handled properly. Rooms were clean. Linen was well maintained. Well stacked coffee/tea / kettle. For the tariff charged, rooms could have been centrally airconditioned. The room air conditioning was positioned opposite the bed and was uncomfortable. There is no exhaust fan in the toilet with a small window that doesn't allow ventilation at all. The ceiling is very low and had a grill mounted fan which was oscillating. Totally weird for a hotel room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cholaa Dynasty hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The Restaurant staff Ms Sri Priya was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my dinner was perfect and also entertaining person. She also very friendly with smiley face. Keep it up your good service.

The room were clean and fresh. The staffs were really cool, polite and professional. Mr. Amarnat in the restaurant served us the best meals with rich hospitality. The trainee staffs were really helpful. Food tasted well more that what you would expect from a south indian restaurant. Overall experience was excellent and comfy.

SriPriya was very sweet and helpful. Food service should improve and be a bit faster. Rooms are good but can still maintain better.Staff is welcoming and courteous.

On the wake of our stay we were cordially welcomed by acomplished front desk executives . Their cooperation in all respect is praiseworthy . Enjoyed a very comfortable stay. All staffs are very well behaved and groomed with good manners. Food quality is very good. I wish to visit this place again. Only thing we missed is an exhaust fan in the bathroom . Nevertheless we felt at home !

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice, especially one Mr. Rinkesh from Front office interacted very well and he supported us from the day in till our check out. We travelled with two six year old's and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks of our tour period. We must tell about the food was Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests. I highly recommend this place.
