Chokramudi Peak - Tourist attraction in Idukki - Idukki, India

3-hour hike with wonderful views all around. I recommend starting early in the morning. For foreigners, they ask 600 Rp which includes- entry, a guide, water, and some snack. Be careful of leaches, better to wear good shoes and long pants. The track was mostly steep but there were also some flat parts through small forest. On the top of Chokramudi peak you can have 360 degree view! (in case of no clouds) Well enjoyed hike :-)

Amazing experience. Strongly recommended for mountain hiking lovers. Beautiful landscape. Different types of flowers. Medicinal plants. Be prepared there are leaches. The best thing keep sanitiser and salt powder for Leach. Keep fruits and nuts for energy while trekking. We saw Nilgiri thar in the mountain. Mesmerizing Valley view. Beautiful cloud movement. Little adventurous ride. The road to the peak was good. Not much crowded place. I think nowadays the peak is beautiful than other days because of raining. Try to reach there before 6:am

Chokramudi Peak..! What a fabulous view. I have experienced an amazing fabulous view in my life. Ridiculously gorgeous sunrise from the top. I recently visited this place with friends. I would strongly recommend for those who love nature to go and experience the amazing life of hiking. Preferably early morning.

A nice and easy trek with a stunning view and all different types of terrains. Get lucky if u can spot a cloud bed, a bison or a wild elephant.

Nice and beautiful place . Here you can feel the beauty of the nature. Now days trekking is not allowed by the forest department (except for some special training purposes) . It will probably take 2-3 hrs to climb on to the top . It may change as per your stamina and the climate . Try to use Jungle boots and anklet web to avoid snake bites and to avoid leeches . Always carry plenty of Water and food resources . Don't forget to carry first aid kit with you . The view from the top is marvelous.
