Nested among many fine dines and pubs in meharuli this place offers you a change from the rest. The place gives you a cozy ambience and a quiet atmosphere so you can spend time talking . The food here is hit and a miss, the rice paper avocado/prawns rolls were amazing. The fish we had was a miss it was more like chilly chicken on the sweeter side. The smoked chicken bao was above average , the filling was good to taste the bao as such could have been better. The signature duck served with thin pancakes was great sweet and tender. A definite recommendation on the drinks is smoked old fashion , and the Vietnamese egg coffee. The staff was courteous enough to provide us with a dessert, the brownie and icecream with toffee sauce it was heavenly. Overall a good option for your date nights, great ambience, better staff food menu is huge with hit and a miss, do give this place a try if you like asian food.
I expected a lot from this place, but by the end of my meal, I couldn't wait to leave. The location is so beautiful, yet the food is extremely disappointing. I mean there wasn't a single dish I had that's worth remembering. The spicy pork pho was terrible and sort of gamey. The chicken chilli gyoza were decent. Their outer layer was pretty tough. The bao, which is usually very hard to get wrong, didn't impress me either. For the price we paid, we were very disappointed. Probably won't be visiting again.
Simply Awesome! Chef Vaibhav is doing an amazing job. Rita, the host was excellent while Himanshu was impeccable in his knowledge and service. STRONGLY RECOMMEND FOR VIETNAMESE FOOD
The food was great! Vibe was lovely, we visited on a weekday, and hence was less crowded. The presentation of the food is genuinely great! Taste is amazing. If you enjoy oriental or asian food, you will surely LOVE the food here!
The craving for Vietnamese food was heightened after seeing the glorious menu for the Vietnom event so I planned a visit to Cho in Ambawata, near Mehrauli. The whole complex is full of buzzing fancy restaurants such as Cho, Rooh, Kakapo, Bougie and Miso Sexy. We started with Aperol Spritz and Campari Spritz and Vietnamese cold coffee alongwith starters Pork Gyoza, shrimp mousse on sugarcane skewers which were so tender and it was such a delight to nibble on the juicy sugarcane sticks after eating the shrimp kabab. The Ban Xeoh was a super crunchy crepe filled with prawns which we wrapped in a lettuce leaf to be devoured with some picked radish and 2-3 other condiments and Bun Cha was a patty which had to be wrapped in lettuce leaf with some rice noodles. The chicken with lemongrass was tantalizing our taste buds sitting on a bed of crispy potato fries. The Vietnamese chicken tacos were a revelation wrapped in pandan leaf which gave the dish a medley of textures. The starters had us decently full so we just ordered 2 mains one was the sizzling fish which was served with rice noodles as a base and a Vietnamese chicken curry with a portion of steamed rice, both the dishes were top notch. On the recommendation of Himanshu, our server (special mention to his excellent service and attention) I'm glad we tried the toffee pudding which was a warm slice of date cake with a sticky toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream, it was polished off in seconds . Such a fabulous meal it was, keen to try out a few of the other restaurants in that complex next time
Food tastes good but quantity is too less making it looks fancy . Feeling of warmth and filling is not there cause the food quantity is too less that it is served like a fancy complimentary item . Must taste their dim sum . Music is too loud
One of the best restaurants near Qutab. Good food, great Ambience and amazing service.
This was my first experience with Vietnamese cuisine. The flavours were amazing and so was the presentation. Not sure how true it was to the authentic Vietnamese flavours but it was great. The flavours were distinct. Not something you would consume on a regular basis. Had dumplings, rice paper rolls and some other rice dish. A view of brightly lit Qutub Minar will add to the experience. Loved the Vietnamese coffee. Though found it to be a bit expensive. But can't complain as the experience was premium. Definitely recommend when you want to have fun with a different cuisine and have some good money to splurge.
