Starters were very good.... First restaurant I have seen serves tanduri unlimited.... Loved it

I visited Chittu's Rasoi with curiosity after hearing about their signature dish, Chicken 95, as I was familiar with Chicken 65 but not 95. However, my experience at the restaurant left much to be desired. Firstly, when I inquired about the difference between Chicken 65 and 95, the waiter seemed clueless, and another boy later explained that it was the same dish, just cooked in extra spicy gravy. This lack of knowledge about their own dishes was disappointing. The Chicken 95 I received was not as impressive as I had hoped. The dish contained mostly bones, leaving very little meat to enjoy. While the presentation was decent, the taste did not live up to expectations. It felt like a new name for an existing dish without any real innovation. Another disappointment was that they serve fish thalis, but the sukat chutney was not available at the time I wanted to try it. This limited the options and left me feeling unsatisfied with the overall dining experience. The restaurant's quality and service also left much to be desired. The food was cold, and the chicken masala lacked the spicy Kolhapuri taste that I had anticipated. It had a slightly sweet flavor, which was not what I expected. On a positive note, I had a pleasant conversation with an underage waiter, which added a personal touch to the otherwise disappointing experience. However, this alone cannot compensate for the overall lackluster quality of the food and service. Furthermore, the unavailability of 50% of the food items, despite being charged the full amount, was quite frustrating. The term "Tandoori" was misleading as the chicken was fried rather than being prepared in a tandoor. In conclusion, my visit to Chittu's Rasoi near Reliance Mall in Kolhapur was not satisfactory. The lack of knowledge about their dishes, the disappointing quality of the food, and the unavailability of items make it difficult to recommend this restaurant. There are better options available, and I would not advise anyone to visit this establishment.

Ordered their signature dish chicken 95 out of curiosity as have heard of 65 but not 95 The waiter does not know the difference, the other boy who came said it was 65 but cooked in extra spicy gravy. Honestly it's just a new name and nothing else. Found just bones giving a 2 star rating as had a nice conversation with the underage waiter They serve fish thaali's too but did not have sukat chutney prepared as I wanted to taste it before ordering Not worth a visit nothing different from the roadside vendors.

Not enough quantity for 1 person or kids ..worst quality...i taken parcel from here 20 rps additnal for packing. Half of items of thali not given. teaste of food ..teasteless

Good for food. You will get more options in your dinner plate. So more comfortable for non-veg and veg both. You will get unlimited plate in 299 for non-veg and 199 for veg with more than 10 items for both. At last you will get most tasty ice-cream which is also unlimited. Thanks. Have good food.

Visited this place with my friend for lunch.. Good for nonveg lovers.. we had the limited thali.. and as per the price you get too much variety in the thali which we liked the most... Every thing was perfect but the food was cold and I missed the spicy kolhapuri taste because the chicken masala was a bit sweet.. but still everything at just 299 is a great option..

We went there for lunch before our movie show at inox reliance mall. You have to take a flight of stairs to reach this restaurant located on first floor right by the road. It is a minute of walking distance from the reliance mall. The ambience and indoor lighting is good. Some very old songs were playing while we ate. Good mood setter. We tried their veg thali. Food was simple and good. There was no crowd since it was only 12:30 PM. FYI They have unlimited thali options too. Owner was sweet and treated us with jalebis since one of the kids scored good marks in board exams.
