Chittoor Sree Krishna Swamy Temple - Featured Reviews (1304)
Krishnaswamy Temple in South Chittoor, Ernakulam, is a prime example of traditional Kerala architecture. Built in the 13th century, it started as a small structure and later underwent modifications. The temple has a rich history, initially connected with the Kartha family of Cheranelloor Swaroopam and eventually taken over by Rama Varma Maharaja of the Cochin Royal family. Today, it's administered by the Cochin Devaswom Board. Good parking space behind the temple. The roads to the temple are a little congested if any big vehicles come. Within the temple complex, various shrines are dedicated to Upadevathas, including Shiva-Ganapathi, Hanuman, Kandankulangara Bhagavathy, Naga, and Brahmarakshas. Additionally, there's a temple pond called Agnihotratheertham on the northern side and a prominent statue of Lord Krishna subduing the serpent Kaleeya on the left side of the main entrance. This temple is known for its association with curing people suffering from severe Rheumatic pain.
Old traditional Sree Krishna - The deity is in the form of balakrishna, Lord Krishna as a kid. It is a quiet, peaceful temple. There is a bhagavathy temple in the compound, you can also get blessings of Naga devata, Ganesh, Lord Siva here. Right behind this temple is a small temple for Lord hanuman too. Evenings are quite peaceful and pleasant here.
Experience a serene ambiance, meticulous upkeep, and a dedicated staff that radiate positive energy at this temple.

I recently had the opportunity to try Nakshatra Catering's meals and their renowned fish fry, including their vatta fry. But I was disappointed with the lack of proper seating arrangements at Nakshatra Catering. The seating area felt cramped and uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal fully. It would greatly enhance the dining experience if they could invest in more comfortable seating options and create a more welcoming atmosphere for their customers.
