When you reach temple, \ Take left and move forward then take diversion towards right , ( Be careful huge downslopes are ahead, so take right) Then move upwards.then you find, Hilltop. ******** ********** ********* *********** Best time to watch sunrise and sunset. I prefer u ppl atleast visit once on daytime, otherwise way gets diverts. NB: This region belongs to Revered forest area.

Chittipara is a mountain peak located around 2 kms from Tholikkodu in Trivandram distrct of Kerala. It stands out like a sore thumb in the surrounding heavily vegetated landscape. It is located on the way to the Ponmudi when traveling from Trivandrum. You have to walk around 15 minutes to reach the top of this hills. Beyond locals, the rock is not frequently visited. You can find the best sunrise and sunset here rather than anywhere in Trivandrum dristrict. The North face of the rock is shaded throughout the day and receives a great deal . However, the wind makes this side a great place to escape the heat of Kerala's muggy summers. The climbs on the south face are fairly short and of much easier grades while the western face offers the longest routes.
