A lodge with a tradition and bang in the midst of the bustling market area, Chitra Lodge may suit the traders and businessmen, who spend less time within the precincts. But age is catching up with this hotel in the form of creaking furniture and leaking taps, which needs to be addressed immediately. The attached restaurant is excellent, manned by polite hands. To sum it all up, it is a trade-off between comfort and convenience.
Very unprofessional behavior, I was enquiring for the rooms, price and asked to send photo..initially they send me photo...and when I started enquiring more for the different types of room..suddenly they blocked my number from whatsapp and everywhere..and now i can not make any calls to them for booking..not sure what is the problem with them. Atleast they should convey properly if room available or not. But this behaviour from the reception person or lady no body ever expected... My call is continuously rejected by them. So if someone calling them from different booking and not in the town .then how they will get room... Better close the lodge.. No guest will like this unprofessional behavior
Rooms are very old. You would feel that you have entered into an ancient house. Service is poor. But the location is really good,,just 400m from Trichy railway station and just 50m away from Trichy central bus stand.
I'll stay this lodge for a week room is quietly ok for business people it is affordable and easy access
Chitra Lodge located at main area of city nearby new & old bustand ,Lot of big shops ,Supermarket , jewel shops all available near by this lodge , Very near by restaurants available , Rooms all very affordable price , Bathroom neat & clean
I bought a room cost of around rs.1100 double bed with enough space, room service also good, they provided hair oil pocket, travel soap and mineral water can 1 liter, advance booking also available . It is near to old bus stand

The service here is not good and the rooms are only for 2 and the bed is strong like a rock and the room is bad(it is poorly maintained). Most importantly it is not suitable for a family of 4 and the hallway is not maintained properly I personally would have give 0.5 stars for this hotel but the location is in the main
