Chitai Golu Devta Temple - Hindu temple in Almora, Kuchar - Almora, India

Thi temple known as chitai mandir or Golju devta mandir is approx 30 min drive from Almora city. This temple famous for providing justice to whoever comes with pure mind and asks for justice for any deed. Also known as temple of justice or nyay ka devta, it's popular beleif that Golju provides justice to anyone who tell their problem and wants justice to him. People generally write down their application to golju in paper and put/attach it to any place inside temple premises. On fulfilling their wish they come here again and offer their greetings to God by offering a bell to God, they attach it to any place insid temple. In this way there are so many bells inside the temple and all over the place that this place is now also know as ghanti wala mandir or temple of bells. Also to note, do not read any other person's application when you see them open inside temple.

This temple is a marvel. You cannot stop thinking about so many people sharing in numerous problems to the God seeking justice. The temple is well kept. Beware of dhongi sadhus though who seek money. There are monkeys too in the temple so avoid carrying eatables.

What a place! Never been to such a place ever. Quite Fascinating being here. Thousands of bells and they say If you get your wishes fulfilled, you gotta offer a bell. People write their wishes on a paper and hang them on bells and then hang a bell if the wish gets fulfilled. The ambience itself is very much pure and amazing. You are sure to be amazed if you visit. And if you are visiting Almora, its a must visit place.

Shri Golu Devta known for his Justice. And His tamples are famous for fulfilling wishes. Pandit ji of Tample tolds that if someone has problem in his life come here write down the problem on paper and hang in tample. After that Shri Golu Devta fulfill wishes and then come back to the tample again and hang the bell. And you can see thousands of bell are all around in the Tample of every size from smallest to biggest. These bells are enough to told that how Shri Golu Devta fulfills wishes.

it's a small but very famous temple and also very unique. I have never visited any temple like that before. In uttrakhand you can see bells tied up in temples but here people tied bells with their wishes. They write their wishes on paper and tie up with Bell in a temple. you must visit this place for worship and also see the uniqueness of this temple.

It's a famous Temple of Kumau region of Uttarakhand. Golu Devta is famous for his Social Justice. This temple also became famous because Vivah Movie scene shot here. We visited the temple on Saturday and spend some quality time also.

The temple was very pleasant and the sounds of bells were so mesmerizing. There were soo many monkeys soo stay safe while entering the temple.
