Since Railway works is going on across park town to central, now chindaripet station has bus connectivity also

Good infrastructure which is not utilised and maintained properly. Early days of my Chennai life used this station as the landmark to prepare for our detrain at Park station, on our way to central station. Preferred to walk a km to the station today after a heavy lunch @dindugal thalappakkatti. The walk through the slum was an experience but there are other options for reaching here!

This station is at a strategically good location. One can easily connect to Mount Road, Egmore, Govt Estate - Multi Speciality hospital, Ritchie Street, Metro water head quarters, a bunch of local schools of Chintadripet and in future May Day Park metro station etc very easily. , Maintenance is worst. Station condition is pathetic. Need a good care of this station. Also train frequencies are required to be improved. It's said that, in future this station will be linked to May Day Park Metro station which will enhance the utility of this station much more than the current one.

Ritchie Street, Nearest Station where you can get all electronic products like connectors etc

Place to get down for reaching mount road, the new govt multispeciality hospital and richie street(the local electronics bazaar)...station is poorly maintained just like other MRTS stations...

A good railway station for going important location like mount road, Ritchie Street, Omandur Multi-speciality Hospital. Should be maintained more. It feels a sense of silence due to less people walking most of the time.

Neat and clean and one of the less crowded station even in peak time. Lift facility available.
