Chinna's Camping Area - Featured Reviews (159)
A sweet nice spot by the riverside with a brilliant view of the Virupaksha Temple across the river, Chinna's camping site is a wonderful place to pitch a tent. We have the Bobby's One Love Cafe adjoining it that takes care of the food needs throughout the day. A good sunrise/sunset point in just about a 100 meters away and is therefore easily accessible. Overall, I've had a good experience here.
Awesome place to pitch in your tent or rent out one if you are an offbeat traveller. You would not feel the heat of Hampi boulders here, this place is green hub I would say. It's an extension of Bobby one love, the restaurant cum hangout place is hardly few steps away. Nice crowd, random music jamming by travellers are quite common here. On a whole awesome place to hangout with peace; away from main hippie island street.
This place is an absolute bliss. Very peaceful and friendly people. The veiw of the sunset and Sun raise, food these people serve and the location it is situated are just marvellous. Good place to stay at affordable price. Coming to food you will just love it. My trip to hampi is unplanned hence my stay was very short just for two nights. I really love to visit this place again.
A well maintained tending place on the other side of Hampi. It is located near hippie village. The tent is affordable but the food here is little bit on the higher side, although very tasty. There is an sunset view point just few metres from the place. The owner Chinna is a gentle man and takes good care of his guests.the only down side is may be the rest rooms... There are only 2 available ... And not very well maintained... although it is not horrible either.
Wonderful place especially if you're tight budget.
Chinna is gem of a person.
Helpful & courteous. Camping area is open and nicely bordered by greenery.
The shacks are bright with amazing mural work and overall a cosy feeling to the core.
Don't expect five star decor but definitely expect five star people
Place is awesome but as mentioned due to its coverage of mountain and great mountain view you will find so many mosquitoes . But food is good, place have vibrant vibe. Awesome view, the Tungabhadra river flows behind the place and the service is good.
Serene view point towards Tungabadhra river and Virupaksha temple. Hospitality of the staff was just damn good. They will arrange their bikes to drop you in safe places during bad weather conditions. Food was just yummy especially coffee, chai . I would suggest a people to stay here for camping experience ( Even I felt afraid initially but trust me it would be new experience staying in tents)
Merci de prevenir que l'endroit est totalement ferme !
This place is just amazing to have a proper and delicious breakfast.
We had Masala Dosa,Onion Uttapa ,Idali Chatani and Coffee , Everything was utterly delicious.
This is the best breakfast we had in hampi.
One should not miss it when in hampi ,also
Great temple. I bought special darshna tickets for it otherwise you may not even see inside if the place is crowded.
We did feed fishes as well in the pond there.
Amazing taste
Out of other places for breakfast I would surely choose this place again. They provided us very good & fast service. The Idlis were very fluffy and medu wada was also delicious. If you are nearby Verupaksha temple do visit.
My partner and I went for full body massage at the SIDHA Ayurveda spa, and we both had a completely amazing experience. My partner had a massage from Sunil and I was massaged by his female colleague.
This was the best massage of my life! Sunil and hi
The host is kind and welcoming. Food was freshly made, tasty and served on time. Rooms are clean and comfortable with AC and hot water. Overall Vinayaka Homestay was a good place to stay over.
This great historical site offers so much information about South India and their various importance. Yes it's a tedious walk around for about 4-5 km which is in form of a circuit, but that's the part where you feel like walking in the history, and e
Temple with vibes. Hampi's main temple. Best time to visit is early morning or evening time you can enjoy. Noon it will be too hot. Hire a guide to explore each and every sculpture of this temple. Parking is available around 500m away. You can click
Had a peaceful stay here at Lotus Riya. Our spacious room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The whole family are so lovely and made us feel very welcome. They recommended their close friend Mr.Paul the rickshaw and tour guide, who was there for
We went late in t night at closing time and was lucky enough to see the last pooja of the day. Temple is beautiful ... very nice visit . Recommend to visit the temple much before closing time which is 8pm.
Sunset point on Hemakuta hill. Entrance from the Sasivekalu Ganesha side. From entrance around 500-700mts walk uphill (short hike). Gets busy after 5:30 to see the sunset.
Very good view, ample sitting space for many folks and camera.
