Chinmayi Hospital - General hospital in Kundapura - Udupi, India

Doctors are money minded, Firstly, I have noticed that some doctors at the hospital are consistently prescribing specific brand names in their prescriptions. This practice raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest and raises questions about the doctors' motives. It is my understanding that prescribing medications by their generic names ensures fair treatment. Secondly, I would like to bring to your attention the issue of registration charges. It has come to my attention that the hospital charges registration fees for every visit which is totally unethical

Very worst experience to visit this hospital especially that counter and attender staff's. All the patients collect the token in counter that's only for formalities purpose but if patients to pay any some of the amount to attender guys then she/he will send immediately to visit the Doctor. I'm not sure the doctor's or management level are included this scam, if not there kindly look into this matter to avoid this scam, and kick out this irresponsible guys and also worst behaviour of staff especially MRS. Puspa. She is talking very rude to patients.

Worst expierience in this hospital. In counter they given appointment just for formalities. Counter staff are not good. Like golmal hospital it is. Something we have to ask in counter means they told ask to doctors only. Then y tht counter staffs are working no need tht staffs na.

Worst experience with appointment schedule with Dr. Umesh Puthran. Appointment took week before, still I waited till morning till 5 pm. They don't know the meaning of appointment only. If you are ready to waste full day, u r okay to visit.

Doctor Shridevi katte don't have manners. She is so rude and insulted me infront of all patients when I came at1pm. Receptionist gave appointment so I went but she treated me like im a criminal.. scolded me like anything humiliating infront of all. Wen I came with two month baby. But after me one lady came from government department and she treated her so friendly no scolding !!? No professional ethics !!! Shame on such doctors!!

Hospital is okay but faculty members especially the nurses who are in room no. 3 ie orthopedic doctor dinesh kumar room. They behave like doctors and irrespective of what time you came to hospital or if u have token number that doesn't matter it's full of partiality they allow people they knew very early and rest will be waiting till evening even though doctor is very busy in emergency case. Apart from that nurse who r sitting and registering names they behave like doctors other than everything is good

One of the most pathetic hospitals around. They will make you wait for hours. I would suggest find some other hospital.

Such a poor service they provide, staff is so arrogant, staff was so partial that while opening file that lady took 2 other people while i m still there pathetic. Also doctor is expensive, doctor umesh might be a rich guy but everyone is not, just to sell their commission based medicines they prescribe lot of medicines.
