You need to park your vehicle on the main road just beside a big water tank, and take a small cement steps going beside it.
It takes less than a min to reach the place.

View is amazing. You get panoramic view of Satara city. The place is easily accessible from main city circle. Also, you can witness the serene beauty of Sahyadri hills (Western Ghaat) which is spread till Kerala. Sun rise and sun sets looks amazing.
Beautiful place to enjoy sunset and have bird's eye view of Satara though it might get lonely. Beautiful architecture and history associated with it. May be 15-30min is enough to enjoy the view. Parking for a couple of cars, no facility of snacks/ water/ toilet around, people bring their stuff themselves.
A scenic place built by Raja Pratapsingh in 1880. This is the place from which the Royal women folk would watch the King's procession on Dassera.
The monument built later also pays homage to the sacrifices of Rani Laxmibai, Tatya Tope during the Uprising of 1857.
