Chimmini Dam - Tourist attraction in Pariyaram - Thrissur, India

Chimmini Dam Chimmini is a beautiful place in Thrissur district. Ollur is located at a distance of 37 km from Thrissur city via Amballur Varantharapilly. Kuttavanchi ride is available in the dam reservoir. Nice and calm place. Good place to sit and relax. Road is more beautiful .We will get different view from different sides of dam ,Kutta Vanji Safari is available at a cost of 400 for 4 person gang.The Storage capacity of the reservoir is 179.00 Mm3 and the water spread area is 10.10 Km2..

For me there is no great view point or a place to get a good pic the only think is the way towards the chil mini dam filled with nature ,and I don't recommend going there

Chimmini Dam is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Thrissur. I had the most enchanting experience visiting this place. Its a perfect destination for nature lovers like me. The kuttavanchi Safari on the reservoir was a delightful adventure.

Very nice place to visit and you can enjoy the driving experience. Don't miss the coracle boat ride.

Nice visual beauty around the reservoir. We will get different view from different sides of dam when we step in to dam as the water level is too dipped. Kutta Vanji Safari is available at a cost of 400 for 4 person gang. We had gone to chimmini wildlife sanctuary for one day adventure cum leisure expedition panther ride cycling, unfortunately there was no cycle available as they are on repair condition. Hopefully will be visiting the location next time for the same

The Chimmini Dam view is literally Good.. But the Road to chimmini is a real Gem

Chimmony Dam Chimmony is a beautiful place in Thrissur district. Ollur is located at a distance of 37 km from Thrissur city via Amballur Varantharapilly. Kuttavanchi ride is available in the dam reservoir. The package charge is Rs 400 for four people. And one more child is allowed in the cart for free. Around 20-25 minutes travel time will be available. Kuttavanchi yatra is allowed till 4 pm.
