Chilika Hill View - Tourist attraction in Nirmalajhara - Ganjam, India

Lovely View of Chilika Lake can be enjoyed here. A little bit risky, since heavy vehicles are moving speedy. Best time is early morning of winter season. You can feel the beauty of sunrise in the water of the lake.

Breathtaking view from the hills

This point is present in the Khallikote Ghat. You can park your vehicle for a while to enjoy the breath taking view of chillika lake from this point. The hill top, the highways, the train line beside the lake and the sun, all these gives a mesmerizing view from this point. But one thing to keep in mind is that, as the Ghat is not so wide so be careful while parking your vehicle and make sure you are not blocking the highway. Recently one watch tower has been built here and maa pahadi Devi mandir is also a must visit. The drivers often offer coconut to pahadi Devi maa which is believed to be lucky.
