Chilika Dhaba - Dhaba in Barkul - Khordha, India

This Dhaba never disappoints me. The food specially crabs and prawns are the show stoppers. The service is superfast. The place is always buzzing with tourists and foodies. They have air-conditioned rooms and some open sitting areas also. Food price is reasonable. A must try for everyone.

A well known dhaba just off the NH16. Once can relish fresh chilika prawns and crabs. Taste wise it a flavour of typical Odisha cuisine and staff is always next to you to take your orders. Place can be more hygienic as cats keeps roaming. Chairs and tables are quite old. Considering the name it holds, may be a makeover would look good though taste and quantity will make you ignore the other aspects.

One Plate big size Crab cust 1600.00 but crab is no condition to eat they try three times to serve good crab but all time they serve crab is in wrost condition. Suggest try other place.

Food is average, all so called vip places to eat are smelly and damp, outer space are good to eat only in good weather. No fans. Have to take coupons first to eat. And meals are better cause 1plate chicken meal rice dal khata and pampad only is 100 rs, and 1plate paneer is 120rs heights. Chilika family restaurant is referent and it has a Baskin n Robin attached.

Food was good a long time before but now a days the food doesn't taste the same as it was. But still delicious. Service is great. Atmosphere can be more alive. Actually this place is purely to have good food only. They don't care about the ambience or the atmosphere. The only thing that matters to them is to serve good food and really they are the best at it.

Taste of food was below average and not worth of the price they are charging. they are literally looting people since most of the customers are tourist. Dining Place and overall atmosphere was decent but food and its price are real disappointment. Note. always pay the bill at counter instead at table.

Highly overrated place. Have been hearing about this place since ages and I was very disappointed on the items that we received. Prawn and Chiken tastes the same with same type curry. Will not recommend to any of my friends or relatives.

Recommended by my colleague so went for it and trust it's worth the money. Close your eyes and go for any prawn & crab curry. Rice is unlimited. Don't ask for ambience. The freshest prawns you get and you will know when you eat the dishes
