Good view point to see an aerial view of Yercaud Salem road. If you are in winter season, the mist or fog passes through your face. Try to visit during evening to watch sunset
Visited children's seat in Yercaud in Nov 2022. Being a weekday the place was not crowded at all. The view point is located little ahead of gents seat soon after the botanical garden gate. The day i want it was quite foggy so didn't get a good view. There are 2/3 gazebos and the view is okay. You can also walk down the garden. Washrooms are available in the botanical garden and they were clean also.
It's a view point and garden .. Located inside the genetic heritage garden.. There are gents seat, ladies seat too inside the heritage garden... Nothing to do with the name .. It's a location to expirence a beautiful view... If you are visiting Early morning you can enjoy the cool whether with a foggy view .. Place is suitable for a good nature walk... Note: please don't litter the place with garbage
The Children's Seat viewpoint is situated at the south-western side of Yercaud hill station. From here one can experience the fascinating view of faraway lush green valley and innumerable habitations of humans in Salem and it's nearby areas. Small pavilions are constructed at the ridge.
Those who love animals especially birds must visit this place in Yercaud because 300 per head is worth paying and we get opportunity to feed Birds from our hands. My kids loved it and enjoyed a lot. We can see Emu, Various rabbits, Hen, Dogs, Parrot
Loved it and the sunrise. A windy place and considerably colder than the main yercaud city. So plan accordingly to bring sweaters when visiting in the early morning.
