Children's Park - Park in Gangtok - East District, India

I have loved this place since my childhood. At that time the entry fee was two rupees but now it became 30 rupees for children and 20 rupees for adults each. This place has many things to play with washroom facilities. There is a small cafeteria where we can enjoy momo at a reasonable price, A small stick of ice cream is 10 rupees and tea is 20 rupees.

My kids loved this garden. Its a beautiful garden amidst beautiful landscape. There is an entry fee of rs 20 for kids and rs 10 for adults. There are multiple slides and swings which are age appropriate. It overlooks the stadium. There is a shop selling tea and coffee there. Also there is a washroom in the premise. There could have a place with shade to safeguard from rain. The park can be booked for parties at a nominal price of rs 5000. Alchohol and smoking is prohibited. Its a lovely must visit place with kids.

Good place to leave your kids to play and give yourself some rest

It's the only remaining so called "park" left in Gangtok. Maintainance is a myth with bins fallen over and spilling with rubbish and even beer cans! The Govt. has pretty much demolished all the parks that existed before and constructed other structures. Finger pointing and blaming others is the option officials chose!

Not that big but... Fun place for toddlers and preschool kids...

Park is good but workers overall not attending their duties well. I went morning time with my baby. They should restrict adults to play in children playground, should do dusting or wipe water from slides and swing but no busy in talking with each other...No vigilance at all.

its nice n good enough at this place.... if u have time to rest n good place 4 children to enjoy..

It's a very good place but people looking after it doesn't bother to consider age. It is made for small children not for adults...they don't supervise.
