Children Park, Mapusa-2 - Park in Mapusa - North Goa, India

Had visited the park on a week days few days back and it was closed in the evening. On a Sunday while passing by found it open and a kid playing in. So took my kids to play. They really had a nice enjoyable time with so many things to play on. I was surprised to see the elephant slide still there. I remember playing on it during my childhood days. Can't belive it is still standing strong after so many years.... Hats off to the people who has constructed it. Wish the park could be opened for the kids to play daily but I do understand there is lot of pending work of the grounds being under maintenance. Sweet memories

Good park for children. Ample amount of space for jogging and walking . Easily accesible and beside the road only

It is a good place for the children to play as there are swings, seesaw, etc. Also a good place to sit and relax amidst the trees.

It is a nice little neighborhood park, but there is serious need for maintenance. Also something needs to be done about the mosquitoes. It is impossible to stand still for even a moment during the evening without getting bitten by a swarm of mosquitoes. Besides that, should be a pleasant enough place for taking morning walks and for kids to run around, but strictly during the mornings.

Great place for children to be themselves

The only children's park in Mapusa, famous for the elephant slide, which dates back to the colonial era. It is not too big , and doesn't have too many activities. A couple of swings, slides and 3 climb on top structures. Many people bring their kids here. On Sundays there is lot of crowd.
