We probably visit there on weekends with our family. Very clean beach with low tides. I do recommend everybody to bring their family and children here. Very calm sea and nice sunset view. Will visit often for sure.
At this beach we went at night time before had lunch dinner, we sit there and relaxed. Clean beach and memorable night beach visit.

Good for nothing beach. No eateries, activities or viewing spots. Good for locals to enjoy sunsets or long walks but if you're coming from distant places, it is going to disappoint you like it did to me. It wasnt clean also.
One of the great clean golden sand beaches of Thrissur district, Kerala where families and groups of friends come along to have fun. While some take a dip in the water, some spend quality picnic time at the shore with family and kids. Friendly people keep the beach entertaining
Chilanka Beach, Vatanappilly Thrissur is the nearest beach to Thrissur town. Nice beach. Earlier Vatanappilly beach was main attraction. Now it is closed with seawall. Chilanka Beach is only half km south from old Vatanappilly beach. This is clean and long. Ideal for family evening trip. Sunset is very nice. Car parking facility available. Bus transportation is also there. But frequency is low. Only 1.5 km away from NH 17.
