Nice place to visit for relaxation on way to chikhaldara. Please notice that the location shown on Google maps is for viewing the waterfall. To reach at waterfall base ask directions to reach chichati village. There is a substantial amount of walking to be done through a path in forest to reach waterfall. The waterfall itself is scenic , make sure to visit in shorts if planning to go for swimming in water. Carry a lot of water to drink , no potable water source is available on the way. All in all a worthy place to visit for light adventure.
It's not possible to describe this amazing hidden waterfall in words. You can't get that feeling until you go there in monsoon. The trek to the waterfall is worth. It takes 30-60 minutes to complete the trek. The view and sound of that water falling from the mountain will forever be imprinted in your memories. Remember to carry a water bottle and some snacks. Best season - July to September Recommended to visit with large groups as this place is very isolated
Really great place for one day trek,
Venturing into the heart of the wilderness, I embarked on a soul-stirring expedition to witness the breathtaking beauty of waterfalls. Nature's unrivaled masterpiece, these cascading wonders never fail to evoke awe and wonder. Throughout my travels, I encountered several spellbinding waterfalls, each leaving an indelible mark on my heart and soul. First on my journey was the "Mystic Veil Falls," hidden deep within a dense forest. As I approached, the distant rumble grew louder, heightening my anticipation. Emerging from the foliage, I was greeted by a sight of sheer enchantment. Water gracefully descended from great heights, forming a delicate veil of mist. The pristine pool below reflected the ethereal colors of the surrounding flora, adding to the otherworldly atmosphere. Standing at the foot of the falls, I felt a surge of tranquility, as if time had momentarily ceased to exist.
I've gone onto various treks. On that note this one is pretty average and can be done with family. not MUCH water is present after October. Its route starts from kind of a village then goes on to mountains and route is about 2-3 kms. its nice overall. Good luck!
Best place for 1 day Trekking, its a riverine trek, its quite safe location. Not many tourists visit here so that's why this place is clean, plastic free and peaceful
