Chhattbir Zoo - Bus stop in Chhat - S.a.s Nagar, India

A good family place for a weekend outing although try to avoid visiting it on sundays coz it is very crowded. It is a vast area so normally takes 2-3 hours to explore it fully, and the reptile house and night animals house is closed at 5pm sharp, so plan accordingly.. U can carry your own eatables and camera (there is an extra fees for camera) n avoid using safaris as they cost rs 50 per person and u after standing in a long queue may not be able to spot an animal inside...

Nice to explore but the animals seems lazy and seems they are not properly feeded . You will see tiger but they are not lively dame for other animals too. They take you to lion Ferrari but there also the lions are too lazy. but overall it is good to see them. if you want to go go in the morning so that you can cover all the fields.

It is the largest zoo in the northern part of India and a plethora of species of animals and birds are available on this place.In fact,it was my second trip to a zoo after Jaipur and I would like to let everybody know that this zoo is far better than Jaipur's zoo although it is under construction.

Chhatbir Zoo is a good place to visit, if you can walk futher without getting tired it's OK but if can't walk that further or you have kids along with you, I advice you to take a cab which will stop at the stations which you want to see. In the Lion Safari, you may not see a lion and it might be a waste of money. Rest assure yourself that you can find some variety of animals there. The entry fee is Rs.30-Rs.40 per person. Sometimes at the end the kids might get bored. There are places for resting and a wet canteen inside the zoo. Parking is also available. Chhatbir Zoo is a family place that you can visit!

Wilderness of Jungle animals is as good as Bengal Tigers'swalk here on sunny December sunny day. Outing for small children to see figours live out of their text book and rhymes. Recomended . Do take Hop on Hop off ferries

I really liked this place. It's a very well maintained and big zoo. It has suspense and adventure at every curve. Its a Must go place.

Very Nice place . Reptilian park , Avairy , Nocturnal park , Lion safari , Deer safari , Lake , tree house and eating corner are also present inside Chhatbir zoo . Perfect place to spend your day
