Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Park - Park in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

Once I visited Shivaji Park in 2022 with a classmate, who is a girl. We were sitting together and having a conversation when suddenly, nearly 10 boys of Muslim descent approached and surrounded us. They began questioning me about my name, where I'm from, why I was sitting there, and who the girl with me was. I kindly answered their questions, but then they started talking to each other in Urdu and laughing. This made me feel extremely unsafe, so I asked them to leave me alone. Unfortunately, they refused to do so. Even my classmate, who is not my girlfriend, felt very uncomfortable, so we decided to leave the park. As we walked out of the park, those boys continued to follow us and harass me Am 200%sure they all are below 15 year guys!! According to me primary school boys. 2 year back same incident happened in rajendra nagar park when I was sitting alone !

A large park but there is no maintenance here, no grass on ground it is becoming multiple sports playground..

This park should get well equipped with children toys band games to play

This park is huge,good pathway for jogging, walking running.Play area present for children but not much equipment. Green surrounding with many plants ,good wind n air circulation. Good places to spend little time with family but not entertaining, majority of the crowd consists of local residents. Toilet Facilities very poor with over flowing urinals n when passing near the urinals it stinks very very bad. But, still serves the basic purpose of a park.

This park is good for morning jogging.

Good park for early morning jogs/walking. Attracts a lot of health concious residents and children. The park has a number of swings and a dedicated children's play area. Now, there have been tall fences put up on the outside, but the park itself is in a neglected state. Wish the authorities, as well as, residents of the vicinity take initiative to keep the park clean.

One of the best parks in mysuru which suits to people of different ages....from children to grand old ones. Very good green cover , footpath , playing equipments for children makes this park a good place to spend your free time here.
