Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Tiraha - Historical landmark in Chhindwara - Chhindwara, India

This is a neat and clean spot near ELC tiraha. A beautiful statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is installed on a high pedestal in front of a replica of fort wall. A Children park is situated behind the statue point. Park is small but it is clean and the ground is covered with green grass . A small toy train is available in the park. Children love this park very much. There are many shops catering breakfast tea and coffee to the park goers. Congress party's District Head Quarter and a petrol pump are also located nearby. From this point you can go to City Corporation office,Indira Gandhi Cricket Stadium, District library, Government hospital, Vivekanand colony, D. D. C college, Collectorate and many other important places of Chhindwara. Overall, it is a good city spot to see and enjoy.

It's a busy place. You may find some useful shops around. At the back of this statue you can visit small botanical park.

Shivaji Maharaj (Maharastra) and Maharana Pratap ( Rajasthan)is not directly related to chhindwara city, "Mahapurusha Badal Bhoi" and king of Harrai Jagir are main hero of this city, but in the presence of few political influence few people trying to show only these two people ( Shivaji and Maharana) was do work for Country, they think tribles are foolish, and they always trying to collect benefits from these inocent people.

The triangle is always confusing to the vehicle crowd there is always road jam and there is not enough width of road to make the road divider .
