A great museum to look back on in our great history pages. The hunted animals are the main attraction over here. Also, the guns & swards which you can touch & feel the history. Also, cleanliness is one of the good points in Shahu Palace.(Ticket Price is 40)

A really good place to explore Marathas way of living with the level of exhibits collected. A guide service would be much appreciated to understand it In depth instead of having to google it every second. Photography is not allowed inside which is a bummer. But maybe it's cause to create that excitement which is totally worth it. It is really good for all ages and really fun with its play area and a lot of deers and birds around are just a delight. PS- if you are visiting for the first time, you have to buy the tickets in the entrance of the huge gates and not when u enter palace to avoid almost a kilometre or drive. No where is it mentioned ticket counter, so as soon as you spot huge gates just stop by and buy them.

Great palace but visitor's not allowed to explore inside the upper floors. Ground floor is using as a museum. It has some important historical and antique collection.

The place is awesome. The museum artifacts are also great. Rare weapons, old guns, paintings. It has more to offer than just Kolhapur throne history. The garden around the palace is nice. Entry fee is Rs 40 for adults and Rs 20 for children (5 to 15 years) The museum display needs renovation though. People have written on walls and it could be the reason most paintings are a copy instead of originals. Need to fix wall paints and armoury section display can be made more attractive.

Here the old time swords, spears and animal skins are kept in a very good manner, which we see and get a lot of pleasure, so you must visit here once.
