Chettinadu Aachi Samaiyal (Homemade Food) - Chettinad restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

Ordered 4 chapati and one special meals. To our horror, after a wait of 40 minutes we received only the meals. They missed the chapati. So we had to wait for 45 mins more. Coming to the food, the rice was over cooked. Special rice was puliyotharai which was tasteless and salt less. Sambar was okayish in taste. They provided both curd and butter milk. The poriyal was tasty, but kootu was worst. It was some kizhangu covered by a layer of masala. The meals cost 130rs, which is absolutely unfair and not worth the price.

First time got food via Swiggy and it was a worst experience. Totally unclean food. The quantity is sufficient but would people compromise on the quality of food? Planned a breakfast here and totally unexpected to spot a dirty human nail in the food. Felt like puking it off. Maintain some cleanliness people. PS: The dish was listed under 'Best Seller'

Had tried the place by accident on Swiggy & just love the food on offer. Simple, homely & really good tasting food - traditional Chettinad style with loads of Breakfast (typical tamil specials/southindian) items to choose from. In the afternoons Variety rice like Lemon, Curd/Yogurt, Tamarind, Sambhar Rice are available. The food is well packaged in containers.

I order regularly from this restaurant on swiggy. Taste is simply awesome. Quality is very good. Quantity is decent. The idiyappam, pongal, poori, parotta, chapati, kichadi, upma and types of dosas and oothappams are all good. With the discounts available on swiggy this homemade food is a jackpot. My rating 5/5. Way to go. Cheers

I ordered for a special meals from Swiggy. To be frank I could taste the authentic Chettinad flavour starting from the "Radish Kulambu" to the currys packed . All have the traditional flavours . Special mention to the paruppu podi though little it was superb. acl cettttinaattu cmaiyl - tuull ..!

The taste from this hotel is very good . We ordered in swiggy app and it was good. Wejn we searched for the hotel and located it , to our surprise it turned out to be a home where they prepare food. We had parupu podi idli , iddiyappam and putting. Wonderful taste.
