Chennai Xpress - Vegetarian restaurant in Asansol - Paschim Bardhaman, India

The green chutney as well as the red chutney were sweet in taste. The sambhar was tasteless. The quantity of the sambhar was very less. The quality of the food is not good and the prices are very high as well. Not recommended. Park cafe is better.

The food was absolutely mouth watering and had an excellent taste with less oil. It was very very delicious and had few of the best veg food items I've ever tasted. Behaviour of the staff was extremely sweet and polite. Highly recommendable place to all the vegetarians.

Wonderful place with a wonderful ambience. The paintings are awesome. The AC works wonderfully well. The staff behaviour is top notch. The food was also delicious. I wish I could give it a five star because it is just next to my home. However, I give it a four just because of the price. It is a bit over priced. But then again remember I said "bit over priced" and not that it is not at all graspable. Thus I believe this place will have a blast in the durga puja. And again mentioning, it's just a little over priced thus who cares for that during the pujas? Have a blast everyone and all the best to the restaurant.

If you want to try some veg food, this place the better place for you. It is situated at east side of GT Road near 'Barachak Bus Stop'.

After trying to find a proper cafe in Asansol I finally found THE ONE I was looking for! First and foremost the thing which I absolutely loved was the service, the hostess really made sure we had no issues with our experience, the waiters were attentive which I feel most cafe/resturants here ignore. Secondly the food was so delicious, highly recommend if you want good south Indian food and the filter coffee! Lastly the only thing I think most people would hate is the location but if you make the effort it is definitely worth the visit.
