Chennai beach also known as Marina beach is a very long beach. One needs to walk a lot to reach the sea side. The long sand walk also provide an experience in itself. Recommended to visit in mornings and evenings and in weekdays. Highly crowded in weekends. Coastguard security is also there to prevent people from drowning. Helicopter petroling is seen in this beach. One can enjoy shopping also while walking towards the beach.
Edward Elliot's Beach, simply called as Elliot's Beach and popularly known as Besant Nagar Beach or the Bessie, is a natural urban beach located in the Besant Nagar neighbourhood of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is located next to the southern tip of the Marina Beach,[1] and was named after Edward Elliot, a chief magistrate and superintendent of police of the Madras Presidency in colonial India.[2] It has the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Health--also known as Annai Vailankanni Church--on its shore, and the Ashtalakshmi Temple nearby.[3
This is besant nagar beach. Always fully crowded especially on the weekends. Parking u have to be very careful. Traffic police may tow ur vehicle. Lot of play option for kids and adults throughout the way before u reach the beach. Lot of snacks shops with veg and non veg options especially fresh fish fry. When u come outside the beach u will find lot of street foods with lot of varieties and options. I m sure u will enjoy it with ur family.
One of main attractions while thinking of Chennai. When ever I feel uncomfortable, I use to go this beach... That may lead to me for the peace of mind and relaxed mind. You can better visit in the evening with your family and friends or loved one. Enjoy the day...

Its amazing to visit this place and see so many Parrots in natural way. Also so many other birds like Sparrow which seems to be rare here in Chennai, can be seen. Moreover, Sudarson is such is a humble person and with down to earth attitude. Greatly
Went early morning on a weekday and it was a very pleasant experience. Clean beach and not too many people. We walked along the water and saw some people meditating or doing yoga.
Over time Marina and Elliots have become so crowded, filthy and commercial and Mahabalipuram being no different, we really lost interest in Chennai beaches. This beach has come as a savior. Clean and neat. Less crowd and decent crowd. Fewer shops in
Loved the temple at first visit. This temple is not like other temples. There are many pillars and a lot of statues. Lighting is very good during the evening. One must visit during sunset. There is a place for sitting and meditation. Due to the templ
Moderately populated beach. Comparitvely populated during the dusk than dawn. Only one amul ice cream Cart available at the beach. The seller insists not to litter anywhere around and maintains a carton to collect all the garbage.(ice cream wrappers

A Serene Paradise by the Sea I recently had the pleasure of visiting uthandi beach, and it was nothing short of a serene paradise by the sea. From the moment I set foot on the sandy shores, I knew I was in for a memorable experience. The first thin
My favourite beach spot in ECR. Safe to go in daytime. No shopkeepers or vendors available here. So this is just for the day of the visit. But mostly it is flooded by Photographers and their models. Cars and bikes shall be parked at their own risk.
This is good place to spend time for free with family or alone. Blue water. Crowded at some places. Lots of stalls, store where you can find different types of foods, tea or coffee. Horse riding is available.
Amazing designer who customise and tailors the pieces so well ! The work she does is completely handmade and the outcome is really perfect. The blouses fit me beautifully and there was no alterations required.
