This is a hostel for 1st year undergraduate student of engineering at NIT Srinagar. Hostel provides mess facility, bathrooms, washroom with hot water also. There is a seperate beautiful park for Chenab hostel.
Its the worst hostel in N I T Srinagar, in terms of cleanliness and security.There is no proper maintenance of electricity and furniture.Drainage passing through the middle of corridor is covered with slabs in ground floor. Its brocken ages before and rats comes out of it. You won't be able keep any edible Items in your shelf, due to these f**king rats.. More over stray dogs must be roaming though corridor at night time. Morning would be a pleasant surprise with trash & waste scattered all over. Literally its a heaven.. Have fun
Nice hostel. Rooms are good for 3 people but they make 4 accomodate in a room. Otherwise it's a nice place. I have many memories there.
It do have a good wifi connectivity .but floors of this hostel is very bad.it is a better hostel as compared toh jhelum extension.
Bad condition of bathrooms, rooms are not well maintained, 4 people in one room.. In short very bad experience
Maintenance of the hostel is good now compared to before when there was no such thing like "maintenance " in here.
This is far worse than indus hostel bcZ roof is damaged and floor is very damaged . Taps are damaged too
