My daughter was admitted in Chellaram for one week , today afternoon she was discharged. All the staff members are very good and cooperative. Me and my husband were alone , no family members were with us..so many times me and my daughter had emotional break downs the mausi , mamas, nurses and doctors gave so much emotional support just like my family.. All staff members have a smiling face. I really appreciate the doctors who came for room visits and answers all our queries... specially want to thank some staff members... sister sashikala, sudhan, tanuja, shradda and day and night mausi. The canteen workers were also supportive. I would also like to thank Dr. Unnikrishnan sir who was very supportive and is a very down to earth personality.

I did not have a good experience here. I was admitted for Viral fever. Initially they were just trying to send me home even though I had a high grade fever. Then they said they had no beds, they only have bed in ICU. They said they will arrange for a private room the next day, they didn't give me that also. They kept me in a semi private room. The doctors and nurses were good. But they take money from you as deposit when you get admission and do not return it. They promise you they would return it, but they won't despite calling them everyday for a week. Their behaviour is disgusting.

I am writing this to review the overall experience at Chellaram. There were a mix of reactions to my Dad's situation. My sincere Thanks to Dr. Prashant Bhalekar for acting in a very swift manner, in the most serious situation, that of chemical pneumonitis, and recovering my father, making him medically stable, very quickly. He is a very empathetic, brilliant and a professional Doctor, who went out of his way to support us during our most difficult times at the hospital. He took complete ownership of the situation, explaining and answering all our questions very patiently. He builds trust and is a very genuine person. We are also thankful for good support received from Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Divekar, Dr. Pakale, Dr. Sharma, the ICU brothers, sisters Shraddha, Sudhan, Sapna to name a few. I have a suggestion of giving a bottle with a medium straw to patients who have difficulty even swallowing water. Financially, a suggestion would be to allow a certain discount for the elderly patients without any insurance. Now, on the other side, some of the other staff were very blunt and lacked compassion towards our family. Also, some of the sisters and brothers need to note down instructions from the Doctor very carefully and not miss out on any of them. A few wards (private rooms) need a real revamping, cleaning and proper windows, not just curtains to cover. A handful of extra staff for cleanup will be helpful. A couple of additional brothers and sisters to help the patients as the number of patients increases will be helpful. Thank you.

I am writing this review to express my gratitude and appreciation for Doctor Prashant Bhalekar, who treated my mother for cancer at Chellaram hospital. He is not only an expert in his field, but also a kind and empathetic person who went out of his way to perform his duties. He always explained the treatment options and procedures clearly and patiently, and answered all our questions and concerns. He also provided emotional support and comfort to my mother and our family during this difficult time. He was always available and responsive, and treated my mother with dignity and respect. Even though my mother succumbed to cancer, his presence really helped us cope with the loss. He is a rare gem in the medical profession, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a trustworthy and compassionate doctor. Thank you, Doctor Prashant Bhalekar, for everything you did for us. You are a blessing to your patients and their families.

I had a terrible experience at Chellaram Hospital after an accident case. The staff took a staggering 15 minutes to even acknowledge my presence, showing a complete lack of urgency. To make matters worse, the OPD process was an absolute disaster, with no semblance of a proper procedure in place. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone in need of timely and efficient medical care. Especially thr receptionalist staffs. They are so arrogant and they think like they are providing free service to us

It's a multispeciality hospital. Mainly for diabetic people. This hospital also have all types of doctors from general physicians to specialist. It's a huge hospital of 6-7 floors spread widely.

It's a well managed hospital. Entrance to hospital is on service road and not too busy. There is enough parking available. Easy wheelchair access is there. Security and assistants are cooperative. Overall OPD experience has been really good. It's a clean, neat and well maintained place. Most of mediclaim options available...and fast claim settlement.

Casualty and day care night shift staff seems to be learning and not skilled even they dont know how to behave carefully with a patient. We were asked to take a s/c injection which is supposed to inject using 1cc syringe on the skin..but the sister and brother both seems to be unskilled and they injected it in intramuscular way which resulted in hell lot of pain to patient..and later they didn't even accepted their fault and the cleaver duo assuring us that 5cc and s/c syringes are same... Complete pathetic.. The doctors are quite good there so we will only consider it for consultation from onwards..
