It's actually tasty food, but the pricing ruins it. The only difference between the cutlet breads here and the food trucks that sell it for 70 bucks apiece is the sauce and perhaps the well designed sign board. Other than that it's a bare bones plastic chairs in a tin shed joint so I don't get the 200%+ markup on the cutlet bread. The sauce is delicious but that still doesn't justify the overly hiked prices. It's not exactly a fancy or aesthetic place interiors wise. So yeah bit of a miss. Great food, but unreasonable, bloated prices.
This place in margao serves a wide range of stuffed pois, steak breads etc.. Their stuffed pois r good but what we loveddddd was the canacona chicken leg piece.. Sometimes they even offer complementary desserts if ur dining in.. Has limited sitting option.
Choose anything and it's worth it Trust me when I say this ! They only provide takeaways as of now, the food is really amazing and has a authentic goan flavour. So we ordered :- Monster chicken steak burger:- which consists of 2 chicken steak pieces, topped with fresh veggies, creamy mayo,n cheese and egg fried with the sunny side up and it's a must must try!!! Classic chicken steak bread is good too Loved loved smoky BBQ chicken leg pieces, very juicy and yummy Spicy chicken recheado poi could have been a lil bit more Spicer, but not bad. In veg, spinach and cheese burger was good too Also, with our order, received a complimentary serradhura which was amazing indeed! Recommended place to appetize ur tastebuds
It was a prominent name when the original owners were running it. I talked with the chef there and they said that the owners are hardly visiting the place now. The food quality has taken a hit and so has the service too. I really hope they make a comeback soon with a better quality.
Chef slicys has created so much buzz with their steak breads in South Goa. Their menu consists of all the Goan specialities and is yet innovative. They have lots of varieties in steak breads, cutlet breads, stuffed poyees and they even customise them on customers request. We ordered: - Monster chicken steak bread: This is our favourite and it's a must try!! It has double chicken steak break topped with goodness of cheese, mayo and sunny side up. This steak bread is just too yummy. - Recheado chicken poi: Must try! The recheado chicken stuffing was flavourful and tasted amaze with the Poi. - Cafreal chicken poi: It was good. The cafreal chicken stuffing was mild spicy. - Prawns cutlet pav: Prawns cutlet in katrya pav was okayish. Some addon like mayo, cheese would work wonders on this one. - Spicy canacona chicken leg piece: This was good but could be more spicy. It was well marinated and well cooked though. - Smoky bbq chicken leg piece: Recommended! This was fully coated with bbq sauce which had nice garlicky flavour. - Chicken steak bread: Must try! This one has a single chicken steak with some cheese and veggies. The chicken steak was very delicious. Would love to try out their double chicken steak bread too. Chicken ghee roast: Absolutely loved this preparation. Quantity was less as per the price though. Cost: Most of the items are in the range of 100 to 250 bucks. Service: Good service. It's bit slow specially during peak hours. Would definitely recommend this place!
If your a bread lover this place is for you. Great menu. Pocket friendly prices. Not the best of decors but very knowledgeable staff . I would rate it 5 but because the bread was hard and moderately chewy it lost 2 big points there. Coconut pudding was different and was yummy. It was given as complimentary to me as a gesture of appreciating the food and giving them my honest and valuable feedback. Will surely visit next time again.
