I recently had the opportunity to dine at Chef King Restaurant for breakfast, and while there were some highlights, there were also a few disappointing aspects that need improvement. Starting with the positives, the food at Chef King Restaurant generally met our expectations. The Appam was cooked to perfection, fluffy and delicate, while the accompanying Egg Roast had a rich and flavorful taste. The Beef Roast and Chicken Sandwich were also satisfying and lived up to their respective descriptions. It is evident that the culinary team possesses skill and expertise in preparing these dishes. However, the experience took a downturn when it came to the coffee we ordered. Sadly, it was overly sweet to the point that it felt like they were trying to compensate for something. It left a lingering artificial aftertaste that was quite off-putting. It would be beneficial for Chef King Restaurant to reevaluate their coffee preparation methods and adjust the sweetness level to cater to a wider range of preferences. Another aspect that requires attention is the language proficiency of the service staff. While it is understandable that not all staff members may be fluent in the local language, it would greatly enhance the dining experience if they could communicate effectively with the customers. Clear communication helps in understanding specific dietary requirements and enables guests to make informed choices. It would be advisable for Chef King Restaurant to invest in language training for their staff to bridge this gap. Additionally, cleanliness was not up to the mark during our visit. A thorough and regular cleaning routine is crucial in maintaining a hygienic environment for guests. Improving cleanliness standards will undoubtedly elevate the overall dining experience and leave a positive impression on patrons. In conclusion, Chef King Restaurant provides a mixed dining experience. While the food, such as the Appam, Egg Roast, Beef Roast, and Chicken Sandwich, meets expectations and showcases the culinary expertise of the kitchen, there are areas that require improvement. The overly sweet coffee, language proficiency of the service staff, and cleanliness standards all detract from an otherwise pleasant experience. With some attention and refinement in these aspects, Chef King Restaurant has the potential to deliver an even more enjoyable and satisfying dining experience.

They offer both indoor and outdoor seats, as well as a separate air-conditioned dining space. Ordered Parotta, Beef Roast, and Chicken Hot and Sour Soup; it was alright. Also decent was the service.

Am great fan of their porotta. Their porotta is must try with beef pepper roast. Chicken fry also too good. Goos dine in experience. Havent tried their rice items. Maybe next time. Affordable pricing with good qty

In my view this spot is underrated despite been around for 20+ years. The wait time is 15+ minutes but you will appreciate the flavour and freshness of the food when you start eating. For people looking for non-spicy options I'd recommend their sliced beef with vegetables. The premises, although not quite modern, has a unique charm to it in the evenings / late night so dinner time is the best time for a visit.

We often visit this shop but recently we felt that some things could be improved. One suggestion is that they could have implemented an insect killer or mosquito trap as we felt there are a lot of mosquito downstairs. Hope will improve this.

Today is 10th October 2023, 6:30pm, and I've frequented Chef King Restaurant weekly, always dining in the upstairs family area. However, today I faced an unprecedented issue when told I couldn't be served upstairs. Various factors influence one's choice in a restaurant: delicious food, ambiance, staff attitude, and service. It's my right to choose where I sit in your restaurant; your staff shouldn't make that decision for me. Why was I denied seating upstairs when it was unoccupied? Please advise your team not to dictate seating choices to customers.

Food served was of good quality & quantity.Soup was tasty.Porotta was good.Tandoori felt average to me.Beef varatiyathu was .Noodles also tasted good & heavy.Porotta with Beef varatiyathu was perfect combination Good customer service also,but when it comes to dine in experience i would say not to choose upstairs.I chose there new A/c dining area and i felt it as an absolutely boring place to have food with friends or family,so i would recommend choosing there outdoor area.

Went for a light bite here. They have renewed the old setup. The new place feels good in ambience. They have outside seating along with inside seating and separate ac dining area as well. Ordered chicken lollipop. It was ok. The chill garlic sauce that accompanied chicken lollipop was really good. The service was also decent. All the options on the menu were not available. Will give another review sometime when I taste more food from here
