Chawla Chicken - North Indian restaurant in New Delhi - West, India

Great place to have north Indian cuisine. For starters preferably go with tandoor varieties and everything works in main courses especially the punjab region delicacies.

The worst restaurant I have ever ordered. Ordered biryani from food panda and it was delivered in the worst packing I have ever seen. They have actually packed the gravy in a carry bag. I also seriously doubt the hygiene maintained here. I will definitely not recommend this place whatsoever. Please avoid this place at any cost. See the attached pics and decide for yourself. Shame on the management for the reckless and careless service.

I asked FIHR for suggestions for 3 meals in Delhi and I got 300 recommendations :D First blood here, Chawla chicken walon ka cream chicken. Checked in to the hotel and then drove straight to the nearest location hoping to eat in. Found it to be a tiny place with a couple of stools on the footpath. Decided to take away and it was fantastic. Reminded me of our very own Marag but very tasty and not spicy. Coupled it with the butter chicken and aloo parathas that my parents had already ordered at the hotel...Yumm heavy lunch and now I am finding it SO difficult to work :) More Delhi experiences as they happen!

I have heard a lot about the place and order some good items for a home party but nothing tasted so delightful that would make me order again from there .Also the quantity served was very less as compared to the prices they have displayed .

I must say it is worth of one for sure visit. I found the food really decent here,specially mutton which I had last eve. The staff were very friendly and humble they do care about you and your food and they welcome the way you want your food either let it spicy,non spicy or mid kind of flavour..That can be customised acc to customer. Price were soo reasonable without comprising quality.

If you live in Patel nagar you can definitely have good chicken here. Well I didn't really find any other place which is so tasty and so easy on the pocket. It's mostly for home delivery and pick up of food. It has got just two table and those I think are for waiting for the food to get packed; which never took more than 10 minutes for me. There is no min order so just get the menu and order your heart out. So overall, good food, doesn't take much time, good value for money, fills your appetite, keeps you happy. Keep enjoying chicken.

First of fall I want to tell you that you can believe this restaurant.Because I was in a thought that not much people eat there so food will not be that good but when I took the chance to convert my skeptical mind when I just went there,I ordered mutton handi half for Rs 190 with two pieces and chicken tawa quarter for Rs. 160 with two pieces both were good but mutton is the must eat food that I wanna recommend.Thick gravy with decent combination of spices.You can also customise your taste by giving instructions that which type do you want whether spicy or not.So if you want to have mutton then definitely go and for chicken it was just average.
