Chavara Bhavan - Pilgrimage place in Kainakary - Alappuzha, India

It was a good place. St chavara's home was there from past 100 years 100 years as people said.There is a small church also attached where we can pray. Provides water and washroom service as well.

A must visit place in Alappuzha. Kainakari- the birthplace of Chavara achan is a beautiful village. They keep the ancestral house, photos and other valuables of Chavara achan. There is a small church and prayer hall.

Chavara Bhavan - A good memorial of a Famed social reformer. It was lovely to visit the place and interact with locals. The ride to the island through the backwaters in a country boat was the best. Lots of history in there. The place is beautifully maintained. Definitely worth a visit
