Chaugan fort | Chaugan Fort, about 52 km from Narsinghpur, is fighting a battle of its existence. It was built in 1543 AD. There is also a unique specimen of pond, ponds and artifacts of ancient importance. Here is the information panel of the protected area. Sangram Singh had constructed Sangram Singh, the 48th King of the Gaudavs, after his father Arjun Singh, took control of the throne and won 52 Kals in his kingdom. Sangram Singh, the successor of the Gondwana Reign, had built Chaugan fort in about 1543 AD mainly in Wavnagar. He had attained independent status with his administrative skills. Even today, this fort has scenes of ancient artifacts, troughs, ponds and underground rooms.
