Not sure what has happened, it's being renovated yet I guess, 2023 food options have been reduced compared to the prev years. Just waiting for more as a native Bangalorean to say 'Welcome back chat street, missed you'.
It is being renovated now,(april 2023). Chk before u move, quality and quantity is amazing. Plan u r food, even if u visit 10 times, u can have all different 10 times too. Ex : south indian one time , chats one time, veg momos and dry manchuri one time, falooda, gulkon, icecream one time. Junk food like twister, nitrogen icecream one time. Bajji and bondas one time, olge and coconut flavours one time. Plan accordingly and make a move.
Chat Street is all closed because of road construction hence all shops are closed . Some side stalls are open like just 4-5 and hundreds of people are still flooding in , and they can't give any quality what so ever . So for next 3-4 months avoid coming in here .
It's a chat street near banshankri. It has variety of North Indian chats, so many variety of dosas that you would have never heard. Icecreams and what not. Not to be missed if you're in Bangalore

Lots of options at affordable price , this place could be managed better , like stopping vehicular movement in the evening and dedicated space for eating.. Delicious food. Loved the idli so much, Vada and dosa were quite amazing too. There's always a bit of a line but it moves fast and is worth it. The chutney was also quite amazing. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.
