Not much to see really. The tomb complex is locked so you can only see the walled boundary of the tomb enclosure. The surrounding sprawling lawns are nice though, and popular with the locals.
Serene and quiet. Monument surrounded by green lawns. One of lost monuments of Delhi & hence not garner much importance. It's in vicinity of Lodhi Colony.
This place is close to Lodhi Road Railway Station and Safdarjung Airport flyover. It is an archaeological place. You will find a lot of peace and solitude here. Due to less people knowing, not much crowd comes here. There is a big green park inside it, which is being maintained very well by our gardener. I have also shared a lot of 360 pictures.
Najaf khan tomb is situated near safdarjung area. It has a good place for outing and picnic sort of thing. Here anyone can enjoy greenery and peace.
When I visited the tomb of Najaf Khan last month I could not determine whether this was just a platform or the tomb itself. This mausoleum stands in the center of a large garden enclosed with a gateway now in ruins.It consists of a raised platform originally veneered with sandstone, with two inscribed marble cenotaphs, on its top, traces of which can be seen.
One belongs to Najaf Khan and the other to his daughter Fatima. The real graves are located in one of the two chambers in the core of the platform. an enclosure wall covers the whole complex. Najaf Khan was related to the Safvi kings of Persia and came with his sister to the court of Muhamad Shah in 1719 and later entered the services of Shah Alam.
I visited the tomb on my bike but the nearest station on the Delhi Metro is JorBagh on the yellow line, then either walk for 10 minutes or take an auto for INR 20 to reach the tomb. Entry to this monument is free.

Open to the public and easily accessible by people with reduced mobility, this mausoleum and park complex is tucked away almost at the borders of Lodhi Estate.
Mirza Najaf Khan was a Persian noble who became the last great Mughal General. He had fought bravely for Mir Qasim, the last Nawab of Bengal and then helped Emperor Shah Alam come back to the throne of Delhi.
His mausoleum was never finished due to paucity of funds and he lies buried here along with his devoted daughter.
Very ideallic setting...it's a small tomb of late Mughal era.... different in design and look...surrounded by a little orchard, it's not crowded...no fee for enterance too...the place could use better maintenance though...
Nothing much to see here. Expect people who come here to soak in the sunlight during the noon time. Well maintained garden adds up to this place.
