Chaparai Water Cascade - Featured Reviews (12361)
In a popular place, water flows over the carpet like stone(a flat stone). The surrounding scenery is good. Some people take a dip, but I don't think it is healthy and safe. Complementary Dhimsa dance is also displayed.
Wonderful scenery. Vast rock area to have beautiful photos and videos. Not like a regular waterfall where water falls from top. Here the water flow is horizontal similar to a river flow. Entry tickets are 50/- for adults.
Its a nice place to spend time. People do come for picnic too. One can spend nice time dipping their feet in water. 50 INR per person for entry. Free parking available outside on the roadside

En route to Paderu from Araku Valley, the Dumbriguda Waterfall or Chaparai waterfall is around 15 kilometers away and to reach here you need to hire any auto-rickshaw or taxi or drive your own car. A popular picnic spot, Chaparai waterfall is flanked by dense forest and the vista of the incessant streams trickling down large rock formations is blissful, especially as you slide down the smooth rocks like a water slide.
This place has one of the unique features. It has a rock bed through which the river flows leaving a mark on the rock like a ravine. The water has enough force to gently caress you and give you a massage
Best place for friends and family to hangout. Do not be afraid of the slide : It's completely safe. Only concern is the slippery rocks. Try the food outside the cascade: they are delicious
The vibe here changes if it is rainy it feels nice and some times good water and sometimes bad water.if you are going in summer season you can just see some plain rocks that's all . I personally don't recommend this place if you are coming from far places. If you are already in nearby place you can visit.
