Changanasseri - Train station in Changanassery - Kottayam, India

It can't be said as the best railway station or anything. But the renovations made recently increased it's appealing nature more than ever. It does have some decent quality amenities and utilities available within the station premises. Has adequate amount of shops to acquire the food items we need for a journey. The main feature as of railway station within India is multiple points of entry and exit in and out of the station. Not a sensible choice regarding the location because it's distant from the heart of changanassery town which is the MC road are having KSRTC Stand. But it still maintains it's importance in changanassery.

Maintenance and upgrade works going on. Plenty of seats available on the platform but very few fans above for some relief when there is no breeze or its hot. Refreshment available on platform 2 and 3.

Well kept station.There are many positive changes here compared to the past. More trains have stops now.There is a large parking space here.

Right now Changanasseri is the largest Railway station in the Kottayam district it is near the town but the station is silent area with lot of parking facilities and lot of more facilities almost important trains have stops here

A good and clean train station in the mid Travancore. Many long distance trains and passenger trains halt in this station. Good construction and facilities like rest rooms, latrine.. etc. The ticket counters are moved to the newly constructed building.

Good town with access to all southern districts of Kerala. You can experience the beauty of paddy fields of nearby Kuttanad.

Getting renoveted with 4 platforms, and New building. At present reaching 4th platform is a tedious talk. Good and cheap pay and park available, canteen needs improvement, Wash room is just OK

Average train station with minimum facilities... If proper development activites is undertaken it will be one of the best railway station in kerala..
