Amazing place to visit during rainy season. When Mansi vakal overflows from back side towards udaipur then this temple fully submerged in water and no one can reach inside temple. So best time is when Mansi vakal is about 6-7 feet empty from overflows.
Divine temple of Mahadev surrounded by pond & greenery located 8KM far from Jhadol. A great place to have picnic or party because of it's widely distributed area. Highly recommended during rainy season when Mahadev takes a water tomb due to overflows of water.
Excellent place to visit, situated on the bank of Mansi Vakal project lake. Place of lord Mahaeva. Lakewater touches the stairs of temple and during Monsoon when lake at its full capacity. The temple drowns every year. People have great faith and takes oath on the name of Chandwas Mahadev. A new temple is also built for all year worship. government attention required as it becomes a watersport destination and boating point. Many small islands are there in the lake. The route is also fascinating.The Shivling and temple was built five decades old in the year 1560. Architecture is simple but has great importance in the life of tribal and other people of the area.
Scenic beautiful site by the Mansi Wakal Dam. The old temple is submerged in water but is accessible when the water level is low. Temple gives a breathtaking view of the dam which looks mesmerizing. There is another new temple constructed near it.
There are two temples here. One gets submerged underwater once the dam fills up. And then there is a newly constructed temple uphill nearby. The original temple is quite ancient and the campus very peaceful. The views of the lake are simply breathtaking. Very friendly and helpful pujari ji as well. It is a beautiful and peaceful place. There are two temples of lord Shiva one inside water and second out side. Also a green garden there which contain lots of flowers.you can easily see mansi wakl dam from here. Very nice place.
