This place has heritage vibes and carries history along with it for more than 80 years. It was a chilling place of 1st Ever Dy PM of India, Mr. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel along with M.K. Gandhi. During winters, you must try their Lilvani Kachori (green tuver kachori) and obvious picks are their pure Ghee fried Jalebi and Fafda( it is assumed that the tradition of eating Jalebi and Fafda was started by Chandravilas restaurant). I loved their homely styled Tea too. A combination of all the available snacks is also served at 300/- plin form of a Thali (pic attached)

It was a very old and famous restaurant in Ahmedabad, all the snacks were delicious especially the Jalebi in pure ghee. Must try!

After visiting this location last Sunday with my friend I really feel surprised and laugh how people are spending money for just decade ago name.. Technically speaking moeny taken by them for fafda was really worst too much salt ...kadhi which they give you can't drink I have visited 3 time OSWAL who are not agree with my feedback visit by own and you must agree with me for sure. Ambience No cleaness and too much crowdy and not well hygiene maintained by owner and their team 0/10 Food Technically speaking you will get better food in 1/4 price from many unkown street seller and if you wish to compare with top visit OSWAL once. 1/10 Cost most who visit here have to pay more but technically speaking it is not worthy to pay here.

Excellent taste of jalebi and fafdas that I tried here. The service was a bit slow as the restaurant was constantly full. I was solo so had to share a table with other guests, but the food was worth it. It's right in the old city area. I didn't see parking as such nearby, but I could have missed it. Menu is obviously all vegetarian.
