Food is good .service is too slow may be because of rush cause when i go there it was quite rush in the restro. It did their best tk give you the vibe of chandni chowk but its not worth it . 400-500 pp if you want to go their.

It is right by the lake..the decor is really cool..the indoor decor is cultural, with models..food is good..a bit over hyped may be..it is full vegetarian place. They also have hot chaas and jalebi counter
Visited the restaurant for dinner, ordered veg biryani which was served with pickle, boondi raita and onions. The food was tasty and quantity is also good, with great service. Recommend if you want to eat north India food.
We stayed at happy homes hotel and the food we had for breakfast and dinner came from here and we also visited there for breakfast. This place is perfect for the food if you are in nainital. We tried their grill sandwich, dal makhani, red sauce pasta, dosa, mix veg, chai, biryani. I absolutely love the taste of the food. The ambience is so perfect as the name is Chandani chowk. They serve only veg food here and are famous for their Desi ghee jalebi.
I think the place has a good ambience but poorly maintained. The staff is okay but food is below the mark. Too oily and not tasteful. They use so much of oil and grease in their food that one can't just ignore it. Prices are too high for this kind of mediocrity..wouldn't recommend..the cutlery is age old. It looks ugly and decreases your appetite. Do not order south indian or their mushroom curries or soups. Safe bet is to order paneer butter masala and rotis.
We stayed at Happy Home Stays and the food we had came from this restaurant. I still remember the delicious taste of dal makhani and all the main courses we tried that I forgot to take pictures of all the meals. Not only the quality but quantity is too good for the price they charge. I also liked the snacks like chilli potato and idli sambhar was also very tasty. The restaurant has a beautiful vibe and is a must visit when you visit Nainital.
