Chandlai lake - Tourist attraction in Jaipur - Jaipur, India

Chandlai Lake is not so far from the centre of Jaipur. Just drive by your car or bike, but make sure that the weather is your side. All you can have best background for the photos. Some people used this location for the pre wedding shoot.

It is perfect place for nature lover person... When you feel stressed or just bored with Cafes then you can go here for walk . You can enjoy soothing voice of water

A beautiful and calm place there is a tiny road that leads to its side spot,it's better and not at all crowded

If the weather is good, you can visit chandlai lake but itni bhi achhi lake nhi h. This lake is meant for night outings, jinko night me picnic krna h, bonfire and drinks enjoy krni h vo ja skte h. Family tourism ke according worthy nhi h.

approx 20km from jaipur, very beautiful place, just try to avoid in summers, this place is good in winters or in rainy seasons.

I live in Raja park and i decided to go there at morning time. When i left, map showed me the way via Malviya Nagar. (27kms to be exact) So, when we were on the way, (lake was only 5-6kms away) there was sand in the name of road. I'll suggest you to take Tonk road instead of this one. Via Tonk road, this lake is 30kms away but you'll reach faster. So, we reached and we saw the lake. Spectacular view but no edge.(I asked the locals, they said, jaha se bhi chale jaao, kinaara nahi milega iska) There was so much trash and smell and no pakki road. We wanted to click photos but we literally had to find a clean spot for clicking our pictures. (Though it was not clean, it was just less trashy) Overall Good experience because i love a bike ride and a view of lake.

Quite large lake. Some points are great for bird watching. There are no restaurants around. If you plan a picnic, do bring in your food. Nearby Village has some shops selling snacks. The hygiene is questionable, though. Heaven for bird watchers and bird photographers.

Serene,peaceful, as natural as it gets ... a quaint laid back lake created by damming a natural drain ... frequented by birds both migratory and domestic .... we were lucky to sight flamingoes there too!
