Chandipur is a vast beach in Odisha near Balasore sea. Water is 3-4 km away from the shore which makes it practically impossible to go to the water . Mustly visit the beach in afternoon time .

Nice calm place. But not much to do. Roads are not so good. The place is not maintained that well. Basically its a village. Not much for sight seeing. Sea is not suitable for bathing as compared to puri. Sea goes away by 5 to 6 km. That time you can walk through sea bed. My opinion is, stay at balasore. Come here in morning and go back in evening. Dont sat at night. Auto is available here. You can hire bike also from balasore.

It's theoretically a beach, but practically just a desert. Water is 3-4 km away from the shore which makes it practically impossible to go to the water if you are here for relaxing.

There is nothing to visit. Very worst beach ever visited beach is looks like a Cricket field full of Grass.

Because of the receding water level, it's also a fascinating place to walk on the ocean floor and chase the water. A popular tourist place with many stalls nearby for quick snacks. Restaurants and hotels situated nearby the beach. Paid parking for two wheeler is available.

Chandipur Beach is located on the shore of Bay of Bengal and is approximately 16 kilometers from the Baleswar Railway Station. The beach is unique in a way that the water recedes up to 5 kilometers during the ebb tide. Due to its unique circumstances, the beach supports bio-diversity. It is a suitable picnic spot. One of Odisha Tourism's Panthanivas (guest house) is situated here.

Chandipur is a beach like no other. During low tides the beach recedes upto 5 KM offering visitors the opportunity to walk on the sea bed. This unique phenomenon helps the beach to support its equally unique biodiversity.

The place has nothing to see as such. Very poorly maintained beach. There are street dogs here and there which can prove dangerous. The low and high tides times are very apart, viz 8am and 8pm.
