Chandigarh Grand - Hotel in Chandigarh, Panchkula - Chandigarh, India

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's very poorly maintained. They gave us a dirty room when we checked in, where the sheets and covers had been used. Dirty buckets and mugs. The bathroom wall had fungus all over. The shower didn't work, there was no hot water. There wasn't even water on some days. We had breakfast included in our package and that always arrived late. It's located at a very isolated spot and is far from everything in chandigarh. Moreover, there are no shops nearby from which you can eat. You have to head out to the main city. They couldn't even provide us with bottl of water at night and extra blankets. All in all very bad hospitality and a very bad experience. Please don't ever go to this place.

Not as per the price point. Shower not working, dirty bucket n mug, no room cleaning on daily basis or changing of linings. Hotel wants full advance payment for all days. I am still here bcz it's close to office.

The rooms are not maintained. Not clean at all. Door locks are broken. There is see through hole in the door connected to next room and can hear them clearly. The bed headrest, matrices and bathroom are in very bad condition. No hot water was coming through tap or showers. Had to ask them for heating rod for hot water. Even room service was not good. They didn't provide TV remote even after asking. I would suggest to sleep in car than wasting money there. See rooms before booking online. I arrived at 2AM so didn't had any choice after travelling 8 hr.

My experience of the Chandigarh Grand Hotel was neither good nor bad. When I booked this hotel, I made a booking considering its rating on OYO Room and people also had very good reviews about this hotel, so I also made my booking through OYO room and made advance full online payment. But when I reached the hotel and started checking, then hotel staff told me that we have received half payment, So now you have to wait. I told him that I had made a full payment to OYO, but they said that we have not received the full payment from OYO, so you wait, due to which I had to wait for a long time. After this, whenever they provided me room, the condition of the room was not good. The room door lock was damaged, the geyser in the bathroom was not working, the TV was also not working. I don't know why they did it. It may be that they have received less payment from OYO, or may have received less commission. But they should not have done so. They should have provided a good accommodation, so that our trust in the hotel remains. Let go whatever happened, but it will be a good memorable moment for us.

After traveling for 10 hours from Kasol, we reached this hotel at 11.30pm with a confirmed Agoda booking and payment already deducted but still we were denied a room. Receptionist Jai is extremely rude, impolite and arrogant. He bluntly said that the hotel is sold out and to resolve the issue only from Agoda as they don't have time ups with any of the booking portals which was not true. He denied to help in any way by saying 'ye tumhara problem hai' and we had had to find another hotel at midnight. Pathetic experience. Refrain at all costs.

We booked from OYO, The room stink likes a toilet. Staff is very rude. Bathroom was so dirty just like common toilet. Switch were broken. OYO is cheater as well. I Strongly recommend do not use OYO at all. It gives us fake reviews. Please don't go on OYO reviews and pictures. I gave my 3000rs and shifted to another hotel in next couple of hours.

Pathetic hotel!! Our washroom ceiling broke down ,thank god none of our was present there ,but the staff didn't helped a bit to fix that not have us an extra room as a compensation and at the time of check out when we asked for a compensation they were so rude to us and all did they said was "none of them got hurt na,then there is no point of compensation" and even after that they were so rude,they tried to stop out vehicle so that we couldn't go. We missed our bus because of them but they didn't even apologized for what happened. Rain water flooded in the room and they had no courtsey to clean the room until we asked. Pathetic hotel.pathetic staff .I wish there was a zero star rating. Bathroom flush wasn't working, tv wasn't working , they even charged for extra butter(hahahahha). No manners at all. Never ever book a room here

One star is even more for this hotel. I stayed there with family and they did not allowed us to check in even after advance payment. After waiting of 1 hour they provided us 3 rooms out of which 2 room had pithetic washrooms as there was no water even to freshan up. I will strongly ask people not yo book this hotel even if they have it as a last choice in there life. Better sleep on railway station .
