Jai Mata Di! It's the oldest and fabulous temple dedicated to Ma Chandi in Durg. Yes it is located in the congested marketplace but the vibes are awesome. It's known to ward off evil spirits. This place gets mostly crowded during Navratri. After renovation completed a few years back it became more visually appealing.

One of the oldest temple in Durg. Peaceful and beautiful.. I usually visit this temple during Navratri for any special occasion. I have not visited this temple from a long time but I finally did it today. I visited the temple today and here I am writing the review as Google asked me to write about it so here are some complaints that I generally want to express. Maintanence should be regular.. I visited today but it was very difficult to find a Tap. Tap is probably the First thing that people look for when visiting a temple.. Everyone want to watch their hand and should wash their hands and foot while visiting or entering temple. Also one thing that I found complainable able is that they haven't even kept a sanitizer in the entrance they should keep sanitizer due to this crisis. So please I request the temple staff to keep a sanitizer and other necessary steps ready so that people find it more suitable to visit. I know they will improve it and check the maintenance on daily basis. Also try to add a good mattress in the entrance. Rest is fine.. I don't know why I found the temple almost empty.. if I was living near that, I might have visited it daily. We need to be more aware of our Sanatan Dharma. Also temple should play some soft music that people will like and it will definitely bring positive energy.
