Chandor has a railway platform not a station as such. Will remind you of a small village railway platform in Srilanka
the place is so quite when I visited that place and it always open.the railway station is well maintained and there are clean toilet and also there are seating arrangement available.sometimes you can get auto, taxis there and shops are available nearby
This is best place and RAILWAYS STATION
Chandor Railway station actually lies in Guirdolim village. Both Chandor and Guirdolim were a part of a single village named Chandor but even post seperation the name of the station was not changed. The original railway station was next to the railway gate crossing but when the railway line was changed to broad guauge from meter guague the station was shifted to its present location. It is not just a platform but has a full-time station master and one can book tickets for local journeys here.
