If you are looking for the step well in the picture that's not here. Do not rely on google maps to reach this location. As on April 12, 2017, the route is incorrect. Try not to go there by car. The roads are very narrow and people drive like maniacs. The place is nice for some street photography.

if you want to see the real bule house of jodhpur u must go to brahmpuri area , take a auto from out side old city ,and ask him to drop you at navchokiya , there you can start your sight seen of blue houses
This is what the place actually looks like. I took these photos in April 2017. It's an interesting walk getting to this small lake, through the narrow lanes of old Jodhpur.
Mostly Rajasthan's Bawri are same, either ita chand bawri(jodhour) or bandikui's bawri. but for tourist this is good attraction, the stairs are calculated and well designed. historical site.
